What customers say?

“ I got Creme Brulee Muddy Milk with boba and Hanabi Mango Sunshine Mini box. I liked the drink but it wasn't anything special from other creme brulee drinks I have tried. I was disappointed that I missed reading that there was coconut in the mango cake since I don't like coconut...The mango parts were decent but the cake is quite pricey. I don't mind trying another latte or a fruit tea or the rose lychee cake if I'm in the area. ”

“ Creative fruit based drinks with an option to customize your drink sweetness with alternative low cal sugar. They also have a variety of tiramisu, and Asian inspired croissants. ”

“ One of my favorite Boba stop stores just opened up on Hayes...good flavors and many fruit options. My favorite coconut made with whole coconut meat is my favorite. Glad to see they are still around after closing down their Palo Alto shopping center location. ”

“ Wow, never had boba like this- very excited to have a spot open up that is making such creative drinks across the entire menu, with high quality and interesting ingredients. I got this seasonal Baby peach drink with boba and it’s blowing my mind. It has the perfect level of sweetness with the default “less sweet” option. I really can’t wait to try more of their menu and hopefully see a strong rotation of seasonal drinks! ”

“ More recently I went to Zero& and ordered their Hayes Blue. While the drink was pretty cute, I was not a huge fan of the flavors of the drink itself. The drink was pretty balanced and tasted both creamy and somewhat watery from the combination of coconut milk and coconut juice. Let us just say however, I realized I am not a huge fan of coconut juice. If you do enjoy the taste of natural coconuts, I would certainly give the drink a try. I had also ordered their Rose Lychee Mini Box. It is essentially a vanilla chiffon cake with chantilly cream, lychee, edible rose petals, and edible gold flakes. While the dessert looks pretty, I did not particularly enjoy the experience of chewing on dried rose buds on top of the cake. Personally, I think it leaves a rather bitter taste in your mouth and requires extra chewing. I am aware however that Zero& is partnered with Hanabi in offering desserts. The next time I visit, I think I would try ordering something else. Past Review: This was my first time going to Zero& and I have to say I am already looking forward to my next visit. I ordered their Blood Type 0& which comes in a blood bag (which is not only cute but also quite fitting for… you guessed it, Halloween ). The drink, which is watermelon and strawberry jasmine green tea, is not too sweet and is pretty refreshing. The store itself is pretty small and does not have seating. Fortunately, there are plenty of places to sit at the Patricia’s Green in Hayes Valley picnic area, located one minute walk from this boba shop. ”

“ Cute little Boba tea place with a variety of desserts. Great Instagram-worthy items with excellent colorful presentations but my pink guava oasis left me in search of both the guava flavor and the oasis. Stick with the fresh fruit drinks. The coconut mango drink was much better! ”

“ The boba is 3-4 stars, but I loved the black sesame croissant! Black sesame is seriously underrepresented in US desserts but it’s one of my favorites. They did a great job incorporating it into a soft, fluffy croissant. In a city where all boba is pretty good, the food here helps this place stand out. ”

“ Really good variety of flavours here and lots of options for no-sugar and light-sugar drinks. The prices are a bit high but the drinks are really big so it's pretty reasonable actually. I like that their fruits are fresh compared to other places that use puree. The Hanabi cakes are also super cute and tasty :) ”
